i'm sorry i don't update this anymore. i decided to stick to just livejournal.

but here is an update about my etsy!

i was on my way to the kitchen to make a cup of tea when i was sidetracked. sidetracked by this. [that would be my car out there!] snow is in the air! i'm afraid for good. however this isn't the first snowfall. that happenned back in mid-october. oh dear me. i'm not ready for this cold.

i've been saving my money like mad. was going to put it all into a savings account. well i was up at my aunt's yesterday and she just got a laptop. i drooled and have been looking online all morning [seriously the last two hours straight] and i'm so tempted. gosh thats a lot of money though.

so i picked up a cleaning job for my aunt which will be some nice extra moolah. i talked with her a lot yesterday. she works with people who have multiple personalities. its so dang interesting and nice to hear things from a christian perspective instead of publc school no-god-involved perspective. i learned a lot.

oh man what has been going on. i haven't written in forever. i've sold about three items on etsy this week which was a really nice suprise. i haven't updated in a while and people all of a sudden bought stuff that has been up there for months. oh, and the reason i have updated is because i'm going to be selling at two holiday craft shows coming up. one is on november 11 and the other is in the beginning of december. they are the perfect amount of time apart. i'm really excited for these.

this week has been really busy and i can't even tell you with what but its been nice. halloween was really fun. i made a nice dinner again for the family like i did last year. i didn't quite go as all out as last year but still it was nice. then i passed out candy most of the night. we figured we had about 120 kids. it was cold but not rainy which is all we can ask for. our house was all cute and decorated. and the neighborhood kitty sat on the steps with me the whole night and never left. he was the perfect accent to the decor hehe.

i got a haircut but you can't really tell much.

now that i'm out of the funk that i was in for a few weeks i'm so ready to go again with the sfs here in this city. i need to start a chapter soon. its just fear holding me back. i know it'd be nothing but rewarding and so awesome for the girls of this city. need prayer on that one but there is movement in my heart and i'm getting closer. just getting back into a regular routine of study and prayer helps a lot. it was baaaaad for a few weeks. i'm glad to be on the other side.

i had the most vivid dream of my dad the other night. it was so good. i've been holding on to it for days. i was with some people and we showed up somewhere and all of a sudden there was my dad! out of the blue! i ran up to him and just hugged him and sobbed. i knew he wasn't gone. he hugged me but just kind of puzzled as to why i was crying and just chuckling like he did. oh man it felt so real that hug. i still can't believe it was just a dream. good good good.

he has been on my mind so much lately. he preoccupies my thoughts. it just seems like he is still around just out of my sight. i like remembering the things he did and things he would always say. i never want to forget those things. with each day it feels like you forget a little bit. last night i was laying on my mom's bed on the side that he always layed on. i could just picture him sleeping there flat on his stomach and drooling on the pillow [just how i sleep too]. i can see him biting his nails and spitting them out. i can see him rubbing and massaging his arms because they hurt. i can see him sitting on the couch with legs crossed, shirt off, dollar store glasses on and holding up the newspaper and reading it. i can hear him laugh. i can see his smile.

his smile. you wouldn't believe how many people mentioned his smile in letters and cards we recieved after the funeral. he always had it on. it brightened the room and just made you feel at ease. i'm positive that was his best physical feature that showed so much of who he was.
